The Newest addition to the WiffleATL looks to be competitive right off the bat, pun intended. Led by Ken Crochet this group of Decatur locals the Nellie’s come with a good mix of veteran wiffle ballers and youthful athleticism.

Thhough he’s new to Wiffle Atlanta Ken is as good a pitcher as the league has and is my sleeper pick for pitching ROY. Sam Crochet will hold down the 2 spot in the rotation, but that ever elusive 3rd guy has yet to present himself.

Sam and Willy bring speed and hitting and the depth is provided by Austin, James and Andy. They can all hit but Sam Crochet is a basher and should challenge for the HR crown in his rookie year.

The Nellie’s first signing has brought Nick Strangis over providing the experience and scouting that any team needs. Nick is a versatile player that has a nice swing, and plays great defense, rumor is that he can pitch a too.

Projection:
A solid #2 pitcher and adjusting to the rough and tumble Wiffle ATL is the only thing keeping these guys from looking like a favorite. I predict a first round exit but who knows. I’ll be pulling for the new guys unless they’re playing me.
